After all, 2019 RAM 1500 is a class leader, owing to both its payload and towing capabilities — a respective 2,300 pounds (1,043 kg) and 12,750 pounds (5,783 kg) — and its economical use of fuel. The latter owes to an all-new mild hybrid system, called eTorque, an option for both its 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 and 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engines. Plus, it’s the safe bet for the Ontario haul, thanks to active safety features and driver-assists like adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring. That the new RAM 1500 is also a productive mobile office — there’s a new 12-inch Uconnect 4C touchscreen with split-screen functionality and 360-degree camera views available, among other workday-ready features — makes an ideal finishing touch.
